However, invariably we hear these “why” and “what” questions since we commenced operation to solve business problems for our clients’ benefits.
Therefore, we found it expedient to post the answers to the most frequently asked questions about us and our services. The list below contains a series of such queries which most likely will answer your question(s) in mind about HUSSAINS and its services in general.
1. What do you mean by “it pays to pay us”?
It means we deliver result-oriented services and provide practical solutions to your business queries. We aim not to be a burden on our clients; rather we deliver value against the reward we receive from you, which are cost-effective for any client we serve, because we spell out the deal before we start and work out the resulting benefits of our services. It’s always a win-win in the decent world.
2. How do you create business knowledge?
We are famous for one of our statements that ‘we solve business problems’. We do also help management understand any business phenomenon for better functionality. Creating knowledge is a process. We live in a world of cause and effect. Business world is no exception. In most of the cases in business world, business people and management confuse information with knowledge. As such, most of the business houses tend to mistakenly take business decision on the basis of information causing business performance results undesirably. We help management by signals- our systematic business knowledge- for better performance in any area. The key is the LAW OF CAUSE AND EFFECT. At the end of the engagement the knowledge becomes a property of our respective clients.
3. Why is that confident call- “We Know What We Do”?
It comes from our understanding of the nature of the problem and our meticulous, methodical efforts to identify the reasons behind it. Once we pin down the reasons, we simply remove or mitigate them, again systematically, to deliver a solution to the problems or requirements of our clients.

4. Please explain the tag line “Reduced Expectation Gap”?
As stated earlier that we spell out the deal before we start, we agree on the service scope, fee, timeline and specific deliverables after hearing the client’s requirements and comprehending the whole assignment from a deeper level. You can call it A 360 DEGREE perspective. To be honest, we have a rule for client acceptance – that says to accept the client ONLY WHEN we feel that the client is aware of their business need or requirements that are to be solved or fulfilled.
Actually, we put our all-out efforts to solve problems for our clients at a mutually gainful profit. So, there’s literally no scope for an expectation gap from either side in the contract.
5. About you and your business consultancy firm, how old are you?
We have been in business for a couple of years since late 2012. Recently in early 2015 we have rebranded ourselves as a company to diversify and to deliver expected services to the clients under the departments:

• Tax Advisory
• Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) including Employee Management Services, and
• Corporate Law
Business advisory, assurance and tax advisory under the leadership of our Lead Consultant- TOFAZZUL HUSSAIN FCA, who has been in the profession since 2001 possessing considerable professional expertise in the areas he serves- thanks to his training from KPMG Rahman Rahman Huq Chartered Accountant, followed by 8 years partnership with Ocotkhan, and A. Qasem & Co, a PwC representative firm in Dhaka. Our lead consultant brings with him vast experience as a result of his services to numerous clients (c 120) of various size and orientation in private and public sectors including largest MNCs, and development partners in different industries.
BPO services are delivered from the department of our CEO and Managing Director, FATEMA A. HUSSAIN MSS, MPHIL, who has experience as executive director and managers in last 10 years in local companies after being educated in Dhaka University. She is pursuing doctoral degree whilst being an excellent motivational leader for human resources. Our CEO also takes care of our development sector and NGO clients- thanks to her extensive interest in sociology.
Corporate law department is under Fatema Tuz Zohora LLB (Hon’s), LLM
PGD (IR), Advocate (High Court), who is an experienced lawyer with practical knowledge on legal Advisory, Documentation, Litigation, and Compliance services.
Each leader has a separate team to run their department. Moreover, we have a pool of external experts to augment as required aligned with the pledges to our clients.
6. Do you have any affiliation with any professional body?
Yes.
HUSSAINS Business Consultants Ltd is a corporate member (CM 4) of the Institute of Management Consultants of Bangladesh (IMCB), an affiliate of International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI), Netherlands.
Besides, our team leaders are bound to comply with IFAC codes of ethics and the codes of Bangladesh Bar Council for their membership with the respective institutes.
7. Do you have any international network of consultants?
Yes- thanks to IMCB membership, also for our professional work relationship with business advisory group in Europe and Asia.
We are able to serve our clients on setting up business in Bangladesh as well as in any other countries in the world.
We have also strategic partnership with Corporate Brand Management Company, IT Company and a Fund management company.
