Welcome to the business world!
You have options to be a:
- sole proprietor
- partner with a partnership business, and
- shareholder/director of a company.
Sole Proprietorship business is regulated under the The license department of the City Corporation of any municipality in Bangladesh.
Partnership business can be formed pretty much same way a sole proprietorship is registered. A partnership firm is to be formed under the provisions of the Partnership Act 1932 of Bangladesh with provision for maximum 20 partners for a general business and maximum 10 partners for a banking business.
Though it starts with a Trade License and partnership deed among partners, the RJSC authority is the only legal entity to register Partnership Firm in Bangladesh.
Company is the supreme status of a business under the Companies Act 1994 of Bangladesh to be formed by the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms
